Intimate Elegance | A Micro Wedding At Treseren

Intimate elegance… the wedding that still gives me butterflies and makes me smile ear to ear when I revisit these photos.

In mid May I had the pleasure of capturing Abi and Harry’s perfect wedding day. Set at the picturesque Grade II listed Treseren. Surrounded by 2 acres of stunning grounds, secret pathways and an aisle of lawn fluttered with daisies, this was a magical location.

I love photographing brides before their ceremony but this day was one of my favourites. Abi and her bridesmaids were a picture of beauty, sophistication and sheer love. The attention to detail from their pre wedding gowns, to their hair and makeup, flowers and ultimately Abi’s dress, was what wedding dreams are made of. All this coupled with the simple grandeur of the Treseren bridal suite and its natural light flooding in had me swooning all morning.

Awaiting us on the front lawn was the setting of the most gorgeous intimate ceremony, where Abi and Harry said their vows encircled by flowers in front of their loved ones; it left me beaming. Their ceremony was full of laughter and tears of joy and my favourite moment was to see the look on Harry’s face the moment Abi entered the wedding garden. With all eyes on Abi, a vision of serene tranquility and grace, Harry stood, smiling ear to ear, not taking his eyes off his bride to be. These are the moments!

After an afternoon of lawn games and beach frolics, dinner was served amongst the pastel pink linens, gold cutlery and soft flowers. My day came to a close with espresso martinis flowing and a barefoot sunset sand dune stroll at Holywell Bay.
