Are Mirco Weddings The New Norm?

Updated: Jan 28, 2022

Are Micro Weddings the new norm? Potentially!

The vaccine roll out is getting us one step closer to allow weddings to return in full force, but with restrictions in place are we likely to see 100+ guests at a wedding in 2021? Who knows. We are forever hopeful, though the lack of knowledge and information from the government around weddings leaves us all in limbo. I am keeping everything possible crossed that we can see some awesome weddings this summer!

However, if things don't go to plan the Micro Wedding could be the way forward, and could be the perfect option for you if you're determined to get hitched this year! I personally love a Micro Wedding or Elopement. They are so intimate and the day evolves solely around you. It also allows us the freedom to run off somewhere beautiful and create some magic as there isn't a fully scheduled list of timings to adhere to.

Don't get me wrong though - I LOVE a big wedding! But with the global pandemic maybe it's time to go with it and embrace the small and intimate scenes of a Micro Wedding...

A few of my favourite Micro Wedding venues in Cornwall that I can't wait to return to this summer: Lusty Glaze Beach Weddings Gwel An Mor The Headland Hotel Knightor Winery Check out this beautiful vow renewal at Gwel An Mor and this Micro Wedding at The Headland Hotel Newquay, or this gorgeous bluebell elopement in North Dorset!
