Welcome to my wonderful world of wedding photography. I ABSOLUTELY love a good wedding. From the first meeting with the excited couple, where we get to know each other, through to the excitement and anticipation of the big day, right up until I lovingly edit your images and send you your super cute handmade wooden USB box set.
I'm a relaxed, fun and creative wedding photographer based in lovely Newquay, Cornwall but I capture epic weddings across Cornwall and Devon.
You can book me from your morning preparations right through to your first dance. Or, from the ceremony to your first dance. It’s your day, your choice!
I love a non traditional wedding, something quirky and different. I adore the alternative venues, especially since my move to Cornwall. My love for the great outdoors has grown even more and I love taking my couples away somewhere beautiful. How could I not with endless raw coastlines, beaches and clifftops. Why waste that indoors?
My Wedding Photography Style and How I Work
My passion from any wedding comes from the couple. I love to work with easy going couples who laugh and are ok with me being a bit excitable. I generally don’t ask you to pose. And I don’t encourage too much cheesiness in my images. Sometimes though, that teeny bit of cheesy posing creates the best reaction for me to capture.
I draw on your emotions by starting a conversation or asking you to do something
that produces a completely natural reaction. It may be an effortless look of love, an intimate kiss or a burst of pure laughter.
Voila! Shot captured, sometimes without you even realising!
And group shots? They’re important but I do my best to make the process as quick and as painless as possible. I mean, we would much rather see Nanny enjoying herself with a glass of Pimm's in her hand and a smile on her face!
Throughout your day I’m unobtrusive as I (try to) elegantly float amongst your guests taking candid photographs. I’ll occasionally crack jokes with them which always prompts the right reaction!
